Flat Rock

The Flat Rock Trail is an easy 0.6 mile loop that starts from a parking area off the Blue Ridge Parkway. The trail goes by Flat Rock, where you can see views of Grandfather Mountain to the north and the countryside to the west. The signs along the trail expect the hiker to bear left when the trail branches into a loop, but really taking either direction is fine. Nearby hikes are Linville Falls and Rough Ridge. Jonas Ridge is also not too far away.
